The DA42 is the efficient four-seat twin: it suits training and light personal travel where modern systems, Jet A and manageable operating cost matter more than cabin volume. The Baron is a true transport step up, carrying substantially more and covering the mission faster and farther, but two large avgas engines make every unused seat expensive.
